NdFeB Magnet Formed by Binder-less Net Shaping Process

The recent needs for safe and secure automobiles energy-saving appliances have increased the demand high-efficiency motors high-sensitivity sensors. While performance of these devices largely depends on intrinsic properties magnet materials used in devices, it is also important to improve flexibility order form them into complicated shapes durability usage high temperatures or severe environments. Although resin-bonded Nd-Fe-B magnets are known their good formability, they lack due poor heat resistance resin. To overcome this challenge, we developed a new process that enables net-shape forming plastic deformable powder created resin-free bonded with recyclability.
